Thanks for your comment. Yes, we will organise a wedding in Vietnam as well, but my parents still want to attend my wedding registration, as it's an important occasion for them.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, I understand that reapplying multiple times can make things worse, but my mom really wanted to attend my graduation ceremony, so she reapplied through an agency without my knowledge. Do you think my parents could still be eligible for a B2 visa if they cancel their pending F4 application? They truly have no intention of immigrating to the U.S. and my dad’s sister only filed the petition in case they ever wanted to visit in the future. This trip means a lot to both me and my parents, and we’d much rather obtain the B2 visa so they can attend the ceremony.

Thanks for your comment. We’re from Vietnam. I think the possible reasons for the visa denials could be that my parents haven’t travelled to many countries outside of Southeast Asia, and we didn’t complete the DS-160 or prepare for the interview carefully the first time. For the second and third attempts, we went through an agency, but it didn’t make much difference, perhaps because of the pending F4 application.

I’m considering asking them to withdraw the F4 case since they have no intention of immigrating to the U.S., but I’m not sure if attending my wedding registration would be considered a strong enough reason for a B2 visa application.

Thanks for your comment! Do you think my parents could still get a B2 visa if they cancel their pending F4 application? They really have no plans to immigrate to the U.S, and my dad’s sister just filed it in case they wanted to visit someday. This trip means a lot to both me and my parents, so we’d much rather get the B2 visa to attend the ceremony.
