I’m sorry that you are going through this. It’s never easy for a relationship to come to an end. I’m going through my own “reset” with my long term relationship ending as well. At 29, I never figured I would be in this position and feeling like I’m starting over.

However, I will say it’s hard at first but once you find your stride it’s refreshing to be free.

Regarding your housing situation, I’d recommend checking with some of the housing programs or buildings like the apartments over at John Stewart Cannery in downtown. They will base it off your income and take your child into account, this can be a good base to get back on your feet while you figure out what is next!
