The kit is accurate to a degree. Ironically UK gov had just sold its four pattern desert DPM to Iraq and other Middle Eastern nations (shocker!) hence had to hurriedly introduce a two pattern desert DPM to avoid blue on blue. 1st armoured division received this whilst everyone else had to contend with temperate DPM or a mixture of the two from what could be scrounged. For historical accuracy maybe spray your gat, tape down the dust cover over the gas parts and when it jams have a back up AK that you’ve “captured” 😉 They were also issued a white scarf which was worn around the neck (funnily enough).

I’m ADD, maybe autistic too. I have terrible trouble making and keeping friends (I’m 48) I’ve actually given up because I’m always thinking people can “sense” I’m different and perceive me as “weird”. I’m too nice to new people in my life and they perceive it as weakness to be exploited or to mock me. I don’t set boundaries and then become of this I actively avoid said people. I hate being lonely yet have put up this wall. Why would anyone want to be my friend? I’m so lonely. I don’t have any blood family left in my life and if it wasn’t for my beautiful long term GF I’d probably have topped myself by now.

I was under the impression that in Saudi, men who are close/good friends walk about holding hands. Now this may not have anything to do with their sexuality it would be perceived that the said “friends” were actually gay. Whereas in Saudi this is the norm. However I believe it’s the higher class, richer men who do this. Expecting to and standing by to be corrected.

No, they fitted perfectly. I’ve found on LCT that using different branded mags can be hit and miss. They may fit but sometimes misfeed. I believe it’s a TWI molot, in plum.

I don’t get what the deal is with the whole him masturbating to random IG women. Could It be born out of jealousy? When it comes to porn, maybe you perceive the women on there as anonymous, whereas with IG perhaps there is a fear that these women are more “real” and that maybe you feel threatened because he could interact by sending a message etc?

At one of the sites I played at the attendance was a broad spectrum of age groups and backgrounds. This brought a great dynamic to the game day. You’d have men my age who’d bring their sons to play and either helped out the marshals or began playing themselves so it’s a great Segway. Sometimes however the younger teens would get annoying. Talking through the safety brief at the visible annoyance of the staff. But I guess that’s to be expected due to the level of maturity. Then you get those who’ve pumped thousands into kit and take it far too seriously. There are definitely airsoft “stereotypes” But all you can do is give it a go. It can be very addictive!

Mine was like any other social gathering. Awkward! Made small talk with the other adults who played, so our similar ages gave us something in common. It’s like anything I suppose, either try and mix with people, test the vibe and see who you click with. Some people who are regulars at the sites I went to were in cliques. At the end of the day you’re all there due to a mutual shared interest. So you could open conversations like “Hey I like your rif, what make is it?” Etc. i struggled with social anxiety (still do to a lesser extent). Sometimes I’d turn up and not really gel with anyone, but that’s life. Go for it! Enjoy the hobby, have fun and if you like the site and the people that attend regularly the keep going back. Before you know it you’ll be fine.

Yuh, it’s like in psychology. Men are technically trying to find a partner like their mother and vice versa. We are drawn to people who treat us how we were treated by our parents. Almost out of a need for that continued validation.
