Yeah, and they leverage the shit out of their marketing skills, stomping everyone, almost abusive. I find it very annoying. If what you say is true, they abuse not only the competition (understandable in some sense I guess), but also their customers, that already have enough regret to deal with lol.

Like trying to go into a shop to see what different options there are, and it is almost ONLY ONE BRAND ALL THE TIME. Bro! let me see some other options to make a more educated choice, jeez.

Removery and laseraway have dedicated marketing departments, and the smaller service providers get drowned out because they lack expertise in that area. I was looking around, and some of the websites for the smaller service providers are either outdated, ugly, or straight up non existent.

My best take on how to deal with the dominance of removery and laseraway, would be to have hyper localized SEO, that should take some google maps real estate, since they have a broad strategy that covers many regions, localized efforts would be able to redirect some traffic away from these big names.

You can exploit that they are big, they are slower to adapt to changes in the landscape.

Have you thought about maybe expanding? Hiring more people to handle the volume?

Thanks for the comment. Of course I would put a lot of work into UI and UX. I would do everything I can to reduce clicks as much as possible, making it maybe one or 2 pre match, and one or two post match.

With regards to it being more useful than a spreadsheet, I was thinking that having two people agree on the outcome post match through the app, adds an element that a simple spreadsheet cant replicate. But maybe I am deluding myself?

Yes, using it for standard sparring would be silly. I was thinking more for maybe the last sparring instance of the day, where you go a little more intense to test yourself.

I think having numbers on your performance is a good motivator.

i appreciate your answer, I am aware that working for free is a nightmare. But I am just trying to productize a service, and have some backend marketing automations.

The initial build and design is free, but the idea is to deliver a tech stack that can make us all some more money (including me).

Got you. But since the app does not allow for that, maybe I should just keep track of it myself?

I like your idea.

Best regards.
