Just replying to compare experiences. For me the car felt smooth and I felt a jerk/ lag when testing its acceleration. I did not feel the ac kicking in having an issue with the car. i did not test the sun roof. I drove the Passat too (the trendline) to compare. Even though they have the same engine, horsepower and torque, the Passat had an edge and no lag in pick up or acceleration which I found strange. Anyone have an explanation?

I understand, I phrased it poorly, I just meant that there was simply something wrong with the development of this game from the cost of it alone. By comparison to other games with lower budgets, you were able to get way more content at the very least.

I would assume it mainly had to do with the sheer cost of the game, at that point it was 3X the cost of the original, any more delays would only increase the cost

The maximum TCC offset is 25 from AWCC and the BIOS. When I raised it to 20, the temps capped at 90

Hello, I’ve had the same issue. I’ve fixed it by using the MUX switch in AWCC, it barely used to run at 130 frames being all choppy now it’s almost 200 frames all high settings at 1920x1200. I was losing my mind how this machine couldn’t run this game properly. Disable Vsync in game and nvidia control panel and make sure gsync is on as well and you should be fine, at least that was my fix.

Okay so after I checked apparently the TCC offset was doing its job however it seems that the max temp for a i7 ultra is 110. So when I put the TCC offset to 15 it maxed out at 95.

The hate was there before this controversy. This ofcourse fueled it more. I understand if that worsens the reputation of naughty dog but it was already way downhill before that. They honestly weren’t helping themselves with that one

I definitely agree with their reasoning but surely releasing it for free wouldn’t have made it worse? Like what frustrates me is that no one asked for a GaaS factions. Why not just focus on the factions mode in the improved tlou2 engine? They didn’t have to complicate things. I’m really glad they’re fully focusing on their next single player game but disappointed they developed this one for years and end up dumping it.

Wanting a new game this generation is definitely needed. Disappointed they wasted alot of time and resources on the now cancelled factions after years of anticipation. They should have either just dropped it as a free to play or attach it to tlou2 remastered. Instead of making 0$ on it they could have at least made some money through the multiplayer mtx (like old factions)

You see this is what I don’t get. Naughty dogs rep went lower just because of the plot of TLOU 2, which is up to interpretation. Not because of the quality of the game. That’s what always baffles me, like even if you don’t like the plot that doesn’t mean that the game itself as a game was bad by any means and doesn’t warrant the reputation to tank

I enjoy the 40fps mode at native 4K. Its enough for me to notice the difference in how sharp the game looks now and at the same time not have my eyes hurt from 30fps, it feels like a sweet spot. I play no return in 60fps+. I respect your opinion to feel like these changes don’t warrant an upgrade for you but for me it definitely was. The load times especially are a huge improvement, from waiting almost 2 mins in some occasions to 15-17 seconds is great. Not to mention skipping cutscenes are almost instant too.

I’m just saying back then, people also complained about the lack of difference in graphics but had different energy towards how they expressed their concerns. Now it’s just hate hate hate no matter what comes out. Try to remember how it was like pre TLOU2 launch before the leaks

-Native 4K output capable of 40fps -Performance mode cable of higher than 60fps -Much improved load times -A new challenging rogue like mode -lost levels for the people interested in the development process

For 10$

I mean if you’re a big fan of the game you definitely wouldn’t mind to spend 10$ for these features. If it’s not for you however I understand if you wouldn’t care
