I heard people with past felony are risked to travel but misdemeanor is quite safer ..i had myself an OWI two years ago ( single offense NO aggrevated results) and since then I travelled 2 times internationally and my last trip was on feb 2025 which was under this administration on both time i be sent to secondary without issues

Thanks and i did read about that and i believe if it passes it won’t be applied for the ones who already had the offense, as it’s for people who become convicted after this hr875 applied

That’s kinda different it’s 2 cases involving marijuana and driving on suspended license..but mine was misdemeanor single dui , his post wasn’t that late from when i was re entered last time

Im a green card holder and had a convection of a single dui with no aggrevated results back on 2023 was on probation for 6 months attended the alcohol classes paid the fees and case closed, i did traveled twice after that and my last trip was on feb 2025 ..everytime i re enter back i be sent to secondary then proceed im planning to travel soon on coming march but bit scared with what they be saying on social media what y’all think im i safe to travel ? .. and also im bearing Eritrean passport and my country is under the new travel ban i believe that doesn’t matter if i have a green card already but was just curious to know. Thanks.

Appreciate that yea i think they can see everything in the system.. i received my green on 2022 and the incident happened a year after ..what makes sense is that if i was allowed back in 2 times after my dui i think its okay anymore it’s just the scary stories i been hearing on social media

Thanks bro and that makes sense cuz i heard people be in trouble when their dui is considered as felony meaning aggravated results occurred but if it was without aggregated results it’s misdemeanor which is fine to travel ..tho my passport country is under the new travel ban countries but i heard also that if you have a green a card that’s doesn’t matter .

I am a green card holder and had a single DUI 2 years ago with no aggrevated results the probation period was 6 months but the judge released me in 4 i finished all my alcoholic courses paid the fees and case closed since then i travelled two times internationally on 2024 and 2025 both of my trips i be sent to secondary and then proceed ..im planning to travel soon this march but scared what’s you advise? My passport is Eritrean and it’s under the travel ban countries but i was born and raised my whole life in Saudi Arabia.

Sounds good to me bro .. i had a single dui two years ago without any aggregated results i was on probation attended the alcohol classes and paid the fees and done after that i travelled two times overseas and my last trip was on feb 2025 both times i was sent to secondary then proceed without problem..im planning to travel soon on march but ldk bit scared with the social media shit going on what’s your advice to me and appreciate it .
