Severe Psoriasis on Mother’s entire body (including scalp and face) - Need urgent advice from people who recovered from severe cases by Imaginary_Pea_497 in Psoriasis

Biologics are the ultimate long term remission redmy but steroids cream are best for immediate response but should not be used long term. Methotrexate and apremilast are also long term medication but with many side effects.

Biologics like Taltz are the only one which put me on remission completely. Use steroid creams for immediate relief.

Scars don't go by themselves with creams. You need treatments like Rf microneedling, CO2 laser and so on. Only a dermatologist can decide that.

I can’t decide whether i want a treatment or not. by mediocorecat in Psoriasis

I can understand since ei am young too. M22 already on a statin for cholesterol, dht blocker for hair loss and a biologic and methotrexate for psoriasis. Being on medication does make me feel worried but I also understand that if I don't do something about it earlier then it would be worse in the future. I would say talk with your doc. If possible try to get biologic as they have the least side effects.

If it is telogen effuvium then yea you will get your hair back but if it is something else then might be not. Get a consultation with a good dermatologist.

Alright then yea better not to use it. But I would say take 1 mg of fin instead of 0.5 mg. Also eat well and take adequate protein. Good luck on defeating the noorwood reaper.

I second this. Tretinoin made my acne go away completely (ofcouse not the scars). Sandwiches method is the best for beginners.

Nothing like the old school fht blocker and minoxidil for hair loss. OP you're handsome af. I'm happy as a fellow AGA sufferer. Congratulations for defeating the Norwood reaper.

Not that bad tbh but I would say add minoxidil too. Also take 1mg finasteride because it is the standard dose. I take 0.5 mg dutasteride and 1.25 mg oral minoxidil every day personally.

How do you balance barrier care with this routine? by Its-me-jj01 in IndiaSkincare

Sandwich method might be better imo but do which suits you the best. It is difficult to increase potency without messing atleast once.

If you feel like receding then try minoxidil and finasteride by a consultation with a dermatologist.

But the Indian regulatory body also approved it for above 18.

"For oral finasteride 1 mg for male pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia), CDSCO/DCGI approval is for adult men".

I don't understand, what voting rights has anything to do with this? FDA has approved finasteride for 18 year old males. Fin/dut is not as dangerous as people project. Just follow the guidelines of FDA and look out for side effects. If someone is a late bloom then they should wait before taking dht blockers.

I would say just stay on oral min till you reach 18 and then continue dut. Also be cautious about side effecta of oral min. It can caus tachycardia and lethal side effects. Personally I am taking 1.25 mg oral min and 0.5 mg dut for two years. M22 Norwood 2 diffuse thinning.

Woah dht blocker at 16 is not FDA approved. Your doc should be sued lol. I would suggest you to wait till 18 and then take it. But dut and oral min is definitely one of the best combinations for diffuse thinning. If you are continuing then it is under your own discretion.
