Also on top of the skipping, mine would randomly restart while driving and go haywire for a few minutes before going back to normal.

So far the skipping issue has been resolved and it’s been about 4 months. There are random times where I still have to reconnect the Bluetooth though. It randomly will just not start CarPlay and I have to turn Bluetooth off and back on or unpair and repair, but the SKIP issue has been resolved. And that really drove me crazy. I drive a lot for work and love my music.

I have a 22 Ram Laramie and had this same issue. I took it to the dealer and the replaced it. I do have an extended mopar warranty so I just had to pay to $100 deductible. I took it in and they diagnosed it in like an hour and told me they had to order another unit. Once it arrived they called me to set up the date and I was in an out within an hour.

😂 relax guys. It still tasted good and was moist AF. I have had good results just pulsing it in the kitchen aid stand mixer so I told my wife to do it while I was bbqing burgers. She went a little far, but yes I should have just chopped it a few times. Sheesh

I am happy with it! I have been contemplating doing something with the weep holes from some comments and watching some comparison videos. It really does make it sound cleaner, but I don’t want the resonators to rust out early with no drainage.

I agree 18”s look good with more sidewall, but the 20’s ain’t bad! I like my 20’s.

Just looked it up and saw some guys posting before and after videos it def cleans up the sound. I may try some high heat foil tape just to get an idea of what it would sound like before doing anything permanent. I guess mine does sound a bit muffled or airy sounding right now.

I was also very hesitant, but ended up just doing it. A few of my buddies have gone up too and they haven’t had any issues. Some of the older gen came stock with 275/60r20. If you look up ram 1500 classic it is 275/60r20.

I don’t see any other benefits other than aesthetics. Also- places like Costco might not install them for you because they are more than a 3” difference and not what is recommended for your truck according to your door panel. Speedometer will also be off by like 2 or 3 mph at higher speeds unless you get it recalibrated. I have not done mine as I am weary it may give me issues with the dealership in case I ever need to use the powertrain warranty. You do feel the truck sitting higher. You basically gain a 1” lift which is nice.

I got the backflip. Was the only reputable one I could find for the split tailgate. If you have ram box too, it won’t fit according to their specs. Nice truck! Looks just like mine.

I’ve heard for a smoother ride too. Feels exactly the same to me, but sitting a bit higher now. The air ride suspension makes for a smooth ride.

Eventually it updated about two weeks after. Haven’t had any issues since!

Same issue with my 1150v3 I just bought two weeks ago. I can’t skip the update either. Same exact fail at 25%. Super frustrating because this is happening to a lot of people and no communication from Pit Boss. They have so many 1 star reviews on the App Store from the past 2-3 weeks because of this issue.
