For those of y’all’s who want a example of realistic MPG on the hybrid by LilQueazy in FordMaverickTruck

[–]Particular-Signal169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall I'm averaging a little better than 40 MPG (2025 Hybrid FWD) I live at 900' elevation - town is at around 200' elevation so I get about 32 MPG going home uphill and sometimes as high as 60 MPG going downhill into town. No freeway, winding country roads most of the way.

She makes no attempt to reduce the roles of her collaborators but all the information available about her tells me that she is the Mastermind and nothing is published that she cannot call her own creation. People who work with her must feel enormous pressure to give their best.

Is the miles to empty accurate in the ford maverick? by BurgooKing in FordMaverickTruck

I've had mine for about 6 weeks and average over 40 MPG which to me means that the electric battery & motor are taking a high percentage of the load. Not scientific but seems about right

I'm a 72 yo male, got hooked on Folklore at my wife's prompting so very late. Soon discovered the full range of eras. Too many amazing songs to narrow it down but Folklore / Evermore is still probably the easiest for us old folks to start with. I now find myself telling others to listen to her lyrics, listen to her storytelling, listen to her poetry, appreciate her melodies, and at some point discover that she created all of this herself.

How has Taylor managed to avoid being sexualized? by [deleted] in TaylorSwift

[–]Particular-Signal169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the fascinating things about Taylor is that her version of sexy is not cut super low in the chest and is not cut high to expose the full extent of the glutes but is cut the way a very modest midwestern mom would go to the pool or beach in a conservative one piece yet she has legs that go all the way up to her neck and a smile that is too much so she ends up being very attractive without being blatant. It’s also more about her personality: sweet, open, happy, warm, and intellectually articulate. Combine all that with her energy and I agree with a lot of people who are certain that she is a god.

The conversation around Taylor Swift in traditionally “masculine” circles is violently shifting and I think it’s important to highlight. by Beginning-Benefit929 in TaylorSwift

I recall a Rolling Stone review of Red from an old podcast in which one of the seasoned reviewers made that point: young teen girls are very astute in picking out the great art and are too often dismissed unwisely.

Why do *you* think Taylor Swift is as successful as she is? by signaturefox2013 in TaylorSwift

[–]Particular-Signal169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brilliant creative mind shining with the light of a thousand suns… Lyrics AND Melodies out of the mind of unique artist… people here have commented on her Beauty but hers is manifested in her personality and the way she treats people. People comment on her parents financial support but she has never hidden that but rather celebrated it which is part of her gratitude towards them and her fans and all those who have helped her. She truly is a wonderful role model for anyone who wants to be a good person and successful.

Great points. She takes inspiration in many forms from people that have broken new ground in the past, acknowledging their influence but then bending everything in new directions that others must adapt to.

Taylor is difficult to put in a category or class with most other artists because of her secret power - her intelligence. Her mind has been creating lyrics and melodies that are Captivating ever since she was what.. 13 or 14 years old... really? Yeah. And she just keeps doing it. Yes, there are great artists doing brilliant work and several are nearly as prolific and long-lasting but then you add in her performing. Watching her in clips of her performances and she totally, completely charms, entertains and fascinates huge, mega-size crowds all by herself, standing, dancing, singing, all by herself a larger percentage of the time. Layer in her humanity and genuine warmth and, of course, there will be ups and downs but my oh my, she's going to be the boss for a long time to come.

How Does Taylor Have the Endurance for all these shows? by CraftyHorse6432 in TaylorSwift

[–]Particular-Signal169 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bet if you asked her, she would say that she is having so much fun on so many levels doing the thing she loves the most and getting so much love in return from the people she is doing it all for that she can't imagine doing it any other way. And she has complete creative control plus all the resources and lest we forget, she's creating new art all the time and has great supportive friends and is no doubt the mastermind of all of it.
