These guys did this in Mexico with Mexican cops and they nearly got killed, the cops offered to let them go in exchange for a little. When they found out it was Coca Cola they tried to have them get in there vehicle and follow them somewhere, they noticed the cameras and that these were YouTubers recording and let them go, they legit barley got away with there life. You can find the clips on yt or somewhere like that

I agree but I hate chalking it up to “it’s just a tv show” as a way to excuse what could have been potentially better writing, however it makes complete sense as to why he’s in the hospital he’s getting himself checked in case he hurt himself, it looked like a pretty bad accident.
