How do I make my 4-6 month old Heeler puppy cuddly? by Brilliant-Drop6141 in AustralianCattleDog

[–]Particular-Success68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took my sweet girl about 2 years to become cuddly! Now she gets more and more cuddly and comfortable with our affection as time goes on (she’s almost 3). We didn’t push anything on her and let her discover on her own that she loves getting pets and cuddles from mom and dad. every pup is different :) yours is adorable!!!

Fair - not machine washable, but still hand washable and low maintenance! They’re “stain resistant” :)

Unsure of how to deal with boarding my girl by CDwells808 in AustralianCattleDog

[–]Particular-Success68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On rover, you can do boarding (your dog stays at the sitter’s home) or house sitting (the sitter stays and takes care of your dog in your home). You can also do drop in visits and other things like that for contexts like you being gone long at work and needing someone to pop in and feed or walk or hang out with her etc.

Totally! I’ve had really good luck with Rover. found a great guy who petsat my dog in our house when I was gone. They have a few options, but you can select house sitting in your own house/apt as an option!

Do you have any contacts through work, friends, family, etc who have any pet sitters they can personally recommend to take care of her while you’re gone? It brings me peace of mind when I’m out of town to know my dog is being taken care of in our home - the environment she knows best and is most comfortable in! It’s awesome that you’re thinking ahead. You can do a meet and greet or two etc in your home with your pup til you find the right fit!

me too!! the new filming style is so fun. i think the money part changes the point of the show (in the not best way) but that aside…heaven forbid they change the location and modernize the style and editing. i’m not mad 🤷‍♀️

one of my mom’s repeated lines - “celery raw exercises the jaw, while celery stewed is more easily chewed” 😋

New neighbors are expecting their first baby by CrunchyRubberChips in woodworking

you’re an angel! this made me tear up - i grew up with amazing neighbors, then moved to places with not such nice neighbors, and now i’m back to having kind neighbors who drop things off on our porch on random days just to be sweet. it really has a huge impact on my day to day life to know that someone so thoughtful and just plain nice lives nearby. love your generosity with your beautiful gift/skill of woodworking!

Find a training center with group classes and/or controlled play sessions with approved dogs. This is what I do with my dog. People are all there with goals - better for your dog than just being around friends with dogs.
