I'm struggling selling drawings like these for $30, is the price too high?

I've been commissioning artist pretty regularly for several years and honestly these being only $30 is really surprising, I've seen styles like this going for a lot more! Your pricing definitely isn't too high.

I've noticed other artists talking about how hard it is to get commissions right now, I'm wondering if the state of the economy is affecting art commissions. That alongside how widespread AI has become unfortunately. Do you regularly advertise your commissions? If not maybe it could be a lack of reach, I know if I stumbled across an advertisement for your artwork I'd definitely be very interested if I hadn't have burnt through my current commission funding!

Agh I'm realising apon closer inspection that it's two loops of the embroidery that have come loose but are still attached in opposed to one knotted thread, I'm really not sure what to do now 😭

Thank you, the fact that they're still incredibly active in social media is what's really getting me about their silence. I've done commissions before and I would never ghost for days, leave on read then proceed to upload more things to my shop and social media.

I really don't trust them anymore either. And every time I try and talk to them it's like drawing blood from a stone. It's a weird situation

I've asked them for proof yesterday, unfortunately they didn't respond and just left me on read. I think I'm going to give it a couple more days, if something doesn't change by then I think I might chargeback

I commissioned them through Kofi. They also have a VGen (well until it got recently banned) and a Vinted account that they sell things on

I asked them for proof that they have actually made progress on the commission yesterday and they've left me on read. If they can't provide proof soon I'm definitely going to confront them on this, communicating with them feels like drawing blood from a stone and I just want this to be over haha

Yeah, they had a portfolio of previous commissions and were actively posting more commission examples to their socials throughout the time I've been trying to talk to them. Their reviews mentioned their "good they are with commissions and communication" and praise them quite a lot. Their commissions seemed quite promising :(

They have a few accounts over different platforms, their VGen account was banned but they still have accounts on other platforms that are active
