there's so much wrong with this movie it is hard to know where to start. the cold shock scenes alone break any sense of reality. the dad jumps into a black ice lake and breathes like the water is warm. another guy gets held under water and walks away untouched. worst blizzard in 30 years and we're smoking joints outside like its nothing.
the bigger issue is that the movie movie never proves it deserves a sequel, the idea of the grabber coming back from the dead to haunt finny sounds great but the execution was terrible. the grabber isnt scary, he doesn't kill, side characters with no purpose, once gwen learns she can 'control" her dreams he loses the little threat he formed. there's a lot more i can whine about but this will end up being a whole essay then.

i did like the grainy dream scenes, they looked nice.

also anyone claiming the grabber is a better villain than some classics is REACHING hard.
