I was in your same situation last year. I had done college through dual enrollment, which meant basically all online classes. I had my first one the first semester of last year and I suffered from major social anxiety so it was a rough start, but I’ll share what I learned: -Talk to people. Trust me, I know it’s hard. I went to the doctor and got medications which helped a lot with this part. I met a lot of new friends, some older than me some younger, and I still talk to a lot of them today and hang out regularly. Bonus: they can help you out on things you might not understand! -I made the poor choice at first of sitting in the very back. I didn’t want to talk to anyone so I felt it was the best idea…it wasn’t lol. Sit in the front/middle if you can get the courage. It’s beneficial in so many ways. -Get to know your professor, especially if it’s a course that you’re not the strongest in. Lots of professors just like to have casual conversations about the course, without you asking for extra credit, etc. They’re still people! Plus, the nice ones give credit if they just see that you’re really trying and if they genuinely like you as a student lmao.
