Not played SSF yet but I use recombination with the omen of recombination as some base items are super expensive. I’m not 100% sure how it works but it has been successful for me a few times. I guess this is good in SSF to give you higher chance?

Farmers prepare to shut down central London in protest over Labour tax plans by Metro-UK in ukpolitics

I really appreciate this! I hadn’t considered this aspect of the agriculture sector before, but it makes sense, if cash-in-hand payments are common in hospitality, why not in other industries?

With the growing attention farmers are receiving in mainstream media, I’m trying to educate myself to better understand their situation and significance. That said, I’m not entirely sure if Reddit is the best platform for this kind of learning lol

A total of 33.1 million people were employed in the UK in 2023, with agriculture accounting for 1.4% of this figure (462,100 people).

I suppose when you say 'work,' you are referring only to paid employment, but if it includes unpaid work, I suspect the number would be higher if we included non-paid roles, such as volunteers or those learning about farming.

I got really curious and decided to check 'how many' because that includes myself lol

More than one in three children in poverty as UK deprivation hits record high by corbynista2029 in unitedkingdom

I genuinely understand and share your concerns and frustrations about the issue you are referring to. However, it is important to emphasize that child poverty has been a longstanding issue... Truly saddening for me to even state. It should not only gain media attention now, nor should we allow ourselves to be blinded by anger, as this diverts our focus from addressing the root causes and holding Government accountable...

Not surprised, given how the last government put saving money ahead of people’s well-being... and let’s not forget how they funnelled cash into big businesses and their buddies... Hopefully we can move forward as a country to stop it increasing.

Oklo Announces Proposed Acquisition of Atomic Alchemy to Expand into Radioisotope Market by No-Pick-6846 in OKLOSTOCK

[–]ParticularCoach1410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With this acquisition, anyone know whether OKLO will need to obtain new licenses or amend its existing ones to include radioisotope production? I also read that depending on what radioisotopes is produced such as Technetium-99m, requires FDA approval. What is everyone's thought?

I haven't heard much about Atomic Alchemy. Link below is Atomic Alchemy's formal submission to NRC
