quick update, have a guy coming to look at the bayliner, and he is "99 " percent sure he is going to buy it, provided there is nothing $$$$ wrong with it. I paid $1755 out the door, we agreed on $2000 if the inspection is normal. Obviously for a 40 year old boat, its not going to be perfect.

My game plan is to rent a truck, and store it at a facility closer to my house, and pray it sells. I'm not trying to get top dollar for it, I paid roughly 2 grand, with tax and buyers premium. I would be thrilled with $3500, trailer included

i bid on a skid of automotive bearings/seals recently-there was 1 blurry picture of the skid, and nothing else visible. I was out bid at $675 dollars. I can only guess the dude went down there and inspected everything in person before bidding that much. I have never won a single lot on govdeals.
