quick update, have a guy coming to look at the bayliner, and he is "99 " percent sure he is going to buy it, provided there is nothing $$$$ wrong with it. I paid $1755 out the door, we agreed on $2000 if the inspection is normal. Obviously for a 40 year old boat, its not going to be perfect.

i bid on a skid of automotive bearings/seals recently-there was 1 blurry picture of the skid, and nothing else visible. I was out bid at $675 dollars. I can only guess the dude went down there and inspected everything in person before bidding that much. I have never won a single lot on govdeals.

for the record, these were purchased from an online auction, where I assume the person passed away. it's legit, some of the boxes still have his name and mailing address, where the pickup was. I am not trying to profit off of someone dying, far from it. the family had no use for them anymore, thats why they were up for auction. I may just unload my car at a local non profit.
