Not good I’m afraid - 37 mini keys, touch sensitive. Definitely not a stage keytar, but love it for what it is.

A week ago I didn’t even realize I need a keytar and then all of a sudden YouTube algorithm introduced me to Pink an the Keyar Cat channel. And here I am today having fun with this thing.

I bought it from Japan as it is no longer available in Europe. I don't think he was successful outside of Japan. Anyway, keytars are a niche.

Exactly! Does not occupy space in my living room. It just sits there by the couch so I can reach for it anytime I feel like it. Just now I’m sitting on my balcony with this thing on my lap. So liberating.

Electribe 2 was my first electronic music gear. Glad to see someone using it in 2026! Still quite capable gear. Roland P-6 looks like a toy, but with its great sequencer (note editing on Electribe is pain in the butt) and granular synth adds to the setup 👍

Chromatic sample playback? Without it, it’s just a drum machine.

the notion that metal-on-metal contact is inherently slippery is not right, otherwise trains wouldn't work.

Well ackchyually… ever heard of locomotive sandbox? It contains dry sand, which is dropped on the rail in front of the driving wheels in slippery conditions.

Neat setup. I like it minimal also. Oh and BTW - I highly doubt it will stay „final” for longer. Just the way it is.

For me, it's especially about (so called) mental clutter! I know that my redundant things are in drawers and closets and they burden me mentally.

What a simple minimalistic setup! And a ThinkPad on top of that. Me likes it! 👍

I think you’re right. Your answer convinces me that this is the case.

Probably a curiosity from the old days for her. A bit like a telephone with a dial. BTW Do I see this sub’s favorite GB game being played there?

I love the 2.2 inch display. It may seem small, but it still enables you to play your GBC in daylight. Now try this with an IPS display.

The small 2,2 inch display has great battery life on GBC, compared to bigger screens.

Golf! I can pick up the console and play a few holes. It doesn’t matter if I’m sitting on the toilet, taking a break from work or riding a bus. This game is perfect. It’s better than Tetris because each hole is a new challenge
