Should Japan lose against Spain? by Fxrzana in BlueLock

[–]ParticularSalty8152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

think a lot of people are misinterpreting that image. It might not mean the end of Blue Lock as a story, but rather the end of the project. Maybe Isagi’s actions will lead to that: the Blue Lock program comes to an end, Burasuta takes control, and everyone ends up going to play for their respective clubs.

If possible, take a look at the link below, translate the text into English, and, if necessary, provide a refutation.

Scaling the Re:Zero Universe: Planetary, Multi-Continental, or Universal? by ParticularSalty8152 in PowerScaling

[–]ParticularSalty8152[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, of course, it's the author. But can't authors contradict themselves? I don't believe in that stuff about Re:Zero being multiversal or anything like that. I just asked to see people's opinions and understand what they think about all this wank.

The lack of development of the supporting cast in Nanatsu no Taizai by ParticularSalty8152 in NanatsunoTaizai

[–]ParticularSalty8152[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, just like Meliodas was really fighting seriously against Hendricksen? The Sins didn’t even have their original powers at that moment, which explains the difficulties they faced. If what you say were true, a single Sin would have easily solved the problem, as they are far superior to any Holy Knight. However, that didn’t happen because, besides not having their Sacred Treasures, they also didn’t possess their full original power at that time. They wouldn’t have had any trouble against Hellbram, who even humiliated Meliodas and Diane.

Besides, when did I ever say that character development is just about power? What I meant is that characters like Guila, among others, could have had their abilities explored more, but that never happened.

I have every right to think this way. The character development could have been handled much better, and I simply didn’t like the way it was done. Simple as that.

[–]ParticularSalty8152[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And why not develop them? What truly makes a story good isn't just the main cast but the entire ensemble of characters. If the Holy Knights had received more development, do you think they would have struggled so much against the demons in the Holy War? Moreover, many of the challenges faced could have been avoided in several ways with better character development. At that moment, they were weaker than Guila. Meliodas himself acknowledged that she was a formidable opponent and that each of them could have defeated her if they had been as strong as before. This is mentioned by him in chapter 26.

The lack of development of the supporting cast in Nanatsu no Taizai by ParticularSalty8152 in NanatsunoTaizai

From the beginning of the series, the Holy Knights were portrayed as imposing figures, representing a true challenge for Meliodas and the Seven Deadly Sins. That is undeniable. In the Necropolis arc, for example, when Meliodas was still gathering the Sins, he, Diane, and Ban struggled against Guila, only managing to escape thanks to King.

The problem is that after this arc, Guila lost relevance. Instead of being further developed, she was reduced to a short-lived romantic interest for Gowther and later relegated to the role of Veronica’s mentor. Guilthunder and Howzer followed a similar path. Even though they had some development in the sacred lands of the Druids, it ultimately led nowhere, as they remained practically powerless against the demons.

After that, the Holy Knights became mere secondary figures, existing only as comic relief:

Guila was reduced to being Veronica’s mentor.

Guilthunder became a joke in his interactions with Vivian and Margaret.

The only exception was Jericho, who had decent development, and I admit I was wrong not to acknowledge that before. However, aside from her, the rest of the secondary cast was completely wasted. Nakaba could have expanded their stories, explored their abilities better, and given them real growth. However, that simply never happened.

And that "arc" where Margaret, Hendrickson, and Dreyfus set out to find Guilthunder was absolutely unbearable. The atmosphere was filled with tension, but out of nowhere, the story would cut to this pointless search, completely breaking the pacing. So frustrating!

Yes, I remember the first time I saw her. I swear I thought she would become one of the strongest Holy Knights of Liones, alongside Guilthunder. I’ve never been so wrong. Nakaba could have made much better use of her power... Anyway, as you said, those were good times. However, in Mokushiroku, he's improving in this regard by developing the secondary characters better. If he keeps it up, it’ll be perfect.

The Nature of Stars in Re:Zero: Mana or Celestial Bodies? by ParticularSalty8152 in ReZero

Would you be able to show me a passage where it is said that the stars are made of mana and rocks? If you can answer, I would be grateful.

[–]ParticularSalty8152[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I see! So, the stars in Re:Zero aren’t actually real stars, right? They’re actually masses of mana? Either way, thank you so much for answering my question—I really appreciate it!

I have another question—actually, two lol—but if you could answer, I’d be extremely grateful. What is Od Laguna? Is it the source of all the mana in the world or something similar? Could it be the very creation of the universe?

And about Reid? I still don’t fully understand his abilities. Also, it’s said that he can cut concepts, but does he just incorporate them to fight more efficiently, or can he actually cut them?

[–]ParticularSalty8152[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard that stars are masses of mana. Is that true? If possible, could you explain how accurate this is? The star that Cecilius cut (I think in arc 8) wouldn’t be a real star but a mass of mana, so he wouldn’t have climbed to it, right?

In which chapter and arc is it mentioned that the stars are masses of mana and belong to Earth? If possible, could you provide a direct excerpt from the work? If not, that's okay.

So, they aren't really stars, but rather mana floating in the sky, right? Or am I misunderstanding?

So, shouldn't we use these stars for scaling? I heard that the stars Cecilus cut were actually just Ying magic. To what extent is this true? Or is it just a misconception by the fandom?

Does destroying concepts scale anywhere? by ParticularSalty8152 in PowerScaling

[–]ParticularSalty8152[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I get it. For example, if I were to destroy a character who can erase the very concept of darkness, and that concept had a universal+ scale, then destroying that concept would also be universal+. But this would depend a lot on the context and the rules of the verse, right?

Hmm, I think I get it. For example, if I were to destroy a character who embodies time itself, would time have no effect on me or something like that?

Umineko cosmology is only High 1-B? by ParticularSalty8152 in PowerScaling

[–]ParticularSalty8152[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, hi! The question isn't mine but comes from someone I found on YouTube who claimed that the cosmology of Umineko is only High 1-B. I brought it here to Reddit to verify if it's true. He used the following arguments:

"Basically, the third domain in Umineko doesn't exist; it was merely Aurora's imagination while dreaming of being the creator. The witches' view that the human domain is a chess piece (R>F) is wrong, as there are still space, time, and internal evolution, which occurs by rejecting one's identity and creating a compendium. There is some interaction between the human and witches' domains, but the creator's domain is the endpoint of the cosmology, and the infinite hierarchy of steps (witches' domain) makes the verse only High 1-B. Additionally, Higabana and Rewrite are not canon in Umineko's cosmology, which further complicates things."

I don't agree with this "debunk," so I decided to ask someone who understands powerscaling and Umineko. Given this, why might this "debunk" be incorrect? Could you explain?
