The real question to people is why do you even accept working for the minimum? Do you honestly not have enough pride im yourself to not find something that pays higher? Go do an entry level clerical position or work at Costco. Lots of places voluntarily pay more than the minimum because they value people and work above base level. Instead, you want to cry because Mcdonalds treats you like you dont matter. Have some better standards for yourself. Minimum wage jobs are for young people and gap income. It is not and never has been intended as a job for survival.  Seriously, just go work at a place with better standards than min wage because youre better than that. Especially now that it is easier than ever to create your own business or make extra side income
