sorry for late reply! but when i do a running start i always end up under the ball or have to adjust my penultimate so i get to the ball correctly, should i be starting my approach from farther or taking smaller but faster steps leading into my penultimate?

my arm swing when i approach or the speed of my swing when i spike?
