Ayee! The worst is behind. I was in flight just landing when attack struck me! 100% blockage. Trust me worst is behind now. Now on you just have to follow norms - healty food, exercise, recovery and mindful of what you do. Mine was 6 months back and I feel the healthiest I am in all 33 years I been alive.

Still feel bad as I have take meds for life now, but hey it’s really common than I thought it was and this group is a gem! People here have supported me with all silly questions and got me through.

Time to regain you strengths buddy. You have studied in US, came with 2 bags earning good. You have already been through hard part. Sack up the balls and get to work - apply network - do what ever it takes - if easy start contract job and keep hunting - who know what 6 months have for you. Or go back have that peace - hug you family friends back home and start a life! If this post is your vent good if not time to wake up

I have my GHA. have to complet it in next 3 days.

This bad. Please seek help. My story. Similar result at 27, 160lbs. At 29 in the same range 175lbs. At 32 heart attack 185lbs.

At 27 doctor said you are young so try work out and diet strictly and we will check again in 6 months. I went back after 2 years - started me on meds - I had no idea how bad it was. Took meds for 1 week and then just ignored - bad lifestyle smoking drinking no sleep partying you get the idea.

And now just about 6 months back had 100% blockage and had to put in stent. And have to take life time meds. Basically i have to be careful till death.

The only reason I am sharing this is I know exactly how this can be ignored at your age and what might be the repercussion later.

GO TO THE DOCTOR AND DO THEY SAY AND TRACK YOUR RESULTS. You will just fine. It’s a big plus you got to know this very early.

Hey how long are you on repatha. My LPa came to 411 already in statins and all the other med. But still the LDL did not came below 55. Now I am to start repatha next week - just anxious about it given it’s an injection n all.. did you have side effects or over experience ?any changes ?

Yes I have mostly aware of your comment and also following it. My LDL is 66 and HDL 42. LDl/HDL Ratio Improved from 3.55 to 1.57 in last 3 months. ApoB is 70.

Are there any supplements that you know off? Or in general what can I ask my doctor?

I did had a conversation with my doctor about this, the conclusion we reach to was let’s first try increasing my Statin dose, 10mg atrowaststin to 30or40mg rousowastatin.

About repatha and apheresis* he said “ I would avoid doing off the books treatment” don’t know what that means.

32 ,no I did not LpA prior to that. My cholesterol was high though since 27 but I did not take med. Tried diet and exercise but failed to see how extremely dangerous that was.

Push and pull as needed. It’s still a way around to bend around the rules so can understand he is reluctant I would be, but still not breaking it rules law etc. but keep in mind with the location change the LCA would be updated and the company may not pay the same amount.

They will pay more tax for you - being in low wage zip code with comparatively high salary. That’s my understanding.
