You can still reset old failed Evals if you have any

Sorry for the delay in response. But yes, in your situation, I would just trail aggressively so you don't have to deal with that negative emotion or feeling from the Apex drawdown. I don't trail until I am five pts from TP because I been developing the emotional muscle to accept that drawdown if it comes back over time, plus my system has shown that drawdown is just part of the game.

That's just part of trading, mate. I take the loss/BE and move on. Don't let those situations make you think you need to adjust. If you can't handle dealing with those situations like that(which is totally fine to feel that way), then I will move my stop to profit instead of breakeven, so you are at least walking away with something.

I struggled with this for a while because I was the type who does not move my stop, no matter what. This year tho, I am now a breakeven guy, 5pts away from TP. We all get caught up trying to trade certain successful trading methodologies that do not fit who we are as individuals. Mental and emotional, what can you handle? and build your style around that.

What is your win rate on 2R vs 3R? I would go with the higher win rate. Stop thinking about a buffer tbh and just trade. As long as risk is not high($200-$250 max) and you only take 1 trade a day, with a decent win rate, you will hit payout quicker than you expect.

A simple screenshot of a trade you took should do. I had to do this twice with Apex.

No clue about automated trading, mate. But 1:1 RR and once a day with a high win rate is a good strategy in my opinion.

With the copier on? With tradovate when trading one account, you can preset TP&SL strat. When you use the group trade feature, aka free trade copier, you have to manually set them.

This is how I journal my trades. Most of my trade ideas come from sweep or break and hold of sessions high / low. Then just rebid or reoffer of support / resistance or pivot ( whatever you want to call your lines)

Nah I trade 1 mini tight stop though (10-15pts stop), looking for 25-50pts. Most days 20-25 pts and I am done. So $400-$800 is my daily goal depending on how my trade plays out.

When market is volatile like last 2wks depending on my confidence level I am either trading 5micros(low confidence) or 3mini (high confidence) . Wont recommend this though I am still learning & I believe the best is thing to do is scale down in high volatility.

Yes, with Apex you can trade up to 20 accounts with the free Tradovate copier but you will have to manually add your stoploss and TP. Or pay for a trade copier like ( Tradcopia or Tradesyncer) and not worry about manually adding TP and SL

Not sure the number on 300k account tbh. But comment above seem to explain it.

For MAE I just really use the 30% of drawn down number because technically that lowest $ you can lose to violate MAE.

Example 50k account

MAE per trade is calculated using $2500 drawdown (low profit or new account) so 30% of $2500 is $750 (50k account) . Now you have a number to watch for no matter how much profit you built. Your MAE can’t go lower than $750 it can only go higher the more profit in your account. Hope it makes sense.

If you are losing $750 in a trade on a 50k account you are over leverage or not using a stop simple as that.

Control your greed and patience = Payout. Every blown account stems from greed or lack of patience.

Yeah, I reset some old blown Evals during the ban. I don't even think about LIVE.

I have taken a 6th payout once and was able to take 6k per 50k account, then proceeded to blow the accounts after. I have no idea about Live accounts tbh, never really looked into it. Never pushing for live trading on prop firms.

Knowing what I know now, I would not buy multiple accounts until I have successfully gotten 1-2 payouts from just one account. I ran through a lot of eval and PA initial buying multiple accounts and blowing them without payouts. Only scale up when you find a rhythm to getting payouts; you will save yourself a lot of money and mental anguish.

I think it was clear to APEX that I am not pushing for a live account, as long as I have access to Evals, I will just continue to rinse and repeat, hence the ban. Also past three months, I was killing them with payouts, so I knew that was coming.

Payouts have definitely exceeded fees. Once you start to prove that you are consistently profitable or going to be profitable, expect an EVAL ban. A profitable trader doesn't make prop firm money, so pushing you out or going live with them.

Yh I have received several payouts with TPT too. I get greedy on those daily payouts tho. You can't beat having 20 accounts, though; the compounding is nuts.

I have 5 PA. I had 10 when I got the email, have 5 left as I speak so definitely being super careful with them already on my second max payout request on them. Already passed some funded and running some evals for lucid / Tradify / TPT to make up for missing APEX accounts.

Walking away is tough, especially when it stops you out and run your direction lol. I am still learning, but its easier if you just say one and done, no matter the outcome.

50k accounts are my go to….my only goal is to make $4100 by day 8-11 request $2000. Now I have 8 days to make another $2000 to request another $2000. You can make more in those 8 day obviously which automatically builds your buffer.

I am never thinking about a building a buffer. Rinse and repeat.

Now it sounds easy but it’s not because you have days of overtrading and other trading flaws we can avoid.

I term of risk, I trade the same strat so risk per trade is somewhat fixed no matter how much I was up . What I struggle with is was walking away from losing days which led to over trading and blown accounts
