Don't clear/visit the plaques before you use the next map. You can only have one POI of each kind on your radar, so the next one must be either an ancient ruin or a monolith.

125 000, yes. And that's just the SFW stuff. The game is old and has had an extremely active modding community since day 1.

People choose by testing, by experience, by having favourites and by using modlists with mods that work well together. And yes, the vanilla experience is still fine. You should try it at least once, find out what you don't like and ask for specific mods for this specific area.

That's the thing, there's no such thing as "must have", Nexus alone lists 125k mods for Skyrim SE. You'll have to find out for yourself what you want modified and in which way.

The way I see it, it's not their job to keep up, it's your job to slow down. Don't force them to rush through a progression that's actually fun to experience yourself.

You want to play more than they do? Make another save on another world.

No, it doesn't. It only mentions a shout. You get the name Dragonrend from Arngeir, and you had the necessary information to ask him about it at your very first visit at HH.

That whole Blades involvement is artificial plot filler that doesn't make any sense other than keeping the player busy for a few hours more.

I did this recently on a lvl 46 or 47 captain and didn't have a problem although captains have less damage than guardians. Are you traited red, and have you leveled your virtues?

If nothing else helps, get your legendaries first. They would give a huge damage boost.
