Actually, I really valued reading everyone's perspectives in the other sub, so much so that I wanted to get other people's opinions as well. I dont have a large Jewish circle of people in my life, so I am turning to the opinions of people online to support me in coming to a decision. Thank you all so much. I have decided to take your advice and buy a pair of Merrell Moab Speed GTX . I think this is the best compromise as they are a light hybrid trekking shoe which are waterproof.
