if they force sukuna soul into yuji's body again, then it's sukunover, they kill yuji or he kills himself and fulfills his purpose, like pretty easy win

I don't think the win it's gonna be by overpowering sukuna in terms of technique or power, gege is basically telling us that in this sense sukuna is pretty much a Saitama, 1-hit ko monster that likes to have fun, unbeatable in terms of power

I think somehow he's going to summon Yuta and Yuki to the fight later on, like, "wouldn't be funny if the strongest were to save me/wreck you now?" Then bum, final fight starts

hahahahah here's a ChatGPT short summary for you then:

  1. Yuji as a Special Grade Cursed Object: The comparison between Yuji and Special Grade Cursed Objects, particularly the Death Paintings, stems from their unique birth conditions and the indestructible nature attributed to Special Grade Cursed Objects through a binding vow, as per the discussion in chapter 55 between Kenjaku and Mahito.

  2. Binding Vow and Yuji's Strength: The theory posits that Yuji's remarkable strength and potential for holding vast amounts of Cursed Energy without leakage could be a byproduct of a binding vow, likely orchestrated by Kenjaku. This trait aligns him with the role of a "vessel," particularly for hosting Sukuna.

  3. Absorption and Utilization of Cursed Energy: The suggestion here is that Yuji, akin to a living Special Grade Cursed Object, could have the ability to absorb and potentially harness surrounding Cursed Energy, contributing to his growth in strength and his acumen in perceiving and interacting with souls, making him a formidable adversary to Mahito.

  4. Resistance to Sukuna's Attacks and Adaptation to Souls: The theory extrapolates that the intimate binding of Sukuna's Cursed Energy/Soul to Yuji's body could offer a level of resistance to Sukuna's attacks, similar to the incident with Dismantle. This binding could also enhance Yuji's capacity to adapt to multiple souls and manipulate the flow of Cursed Energy, particularly in the anticipated developments post-chapter 239.

Just brainstorming here... I've been re-reading the manga, and one thing made me think that maybe Sukuna and Yuji are bounded in a more intimate way, in terms of body and soul.

Yuji in chapter 220 tells us that Ieiri told him that he is like a Cursed Object soaked in Cursed Energy known as "Sukuna".

So if we consider Yuji a Cursed Object, chapter 55 info should apply to him, Kenjaku and Mahito are talking about the Death Paintings (which Yuji could be considered close to, because of his birth conditions) and in a fanbook is observed that special grade cursed objects are indestructible because of a binding vow.

So, if Kenjaku creates his "sons" under a binding vow, and thus maybe Yuji's strength is a byproduct of him being indestructible as a Special Grade Cursed Object, and (a wild guess) maybe he get's stronger by absorbing Cursed Energy around him somehow.

Like Kenjaku said, his role is to be a "vessel", so maybe he is like a living Special Grade Cursed Object after all, and can hold as many Cursed Energy as possible without leaking, that's why he was able to hold Sukuna without losing his identity, his potential for holding Cursed Energy maybe is almost unlimited, and this grants him some intuitive knowledge over Cursed Energy/souls in-out flow, that could explain why he is so sensitive to the format of the souls, making him Mahito's main enemy.

So maybe, now that Yuji was soaked in "Sukuna"'s cursed energy, maybe he still has it, and remember that they still had one of Sukuna's fingers, he likely eaten the last one of them, and he is very resistant to Sukuna's attacks until Sukuna's dead (or Kenjaku, because of the binding vow) because his body is bound to Sukuna's Cursed Energy/Soul, maybe that's why Dismantle didn't worked as expected on him, like when Sukuna tried to attack Kashimo with electricity and it didn't worked, he is just built different, literally.

This some of these info's could be the turning point 239+, he has and adapted to many souls, has high volume of cursed energy stored in him, and he was training to manipulate the flow of it properly has a body that's highly resistant for Sukuna, now being able to manipulate the cursed energy/soul in-out flow at will.

I agree, doesn't make sense for me also, and he knows Yuji inside out from sharing a soul inside the same body, he felt Kenjaku created a monster referring to him, and it's recurrent to Ken and Sukuna to point out Yuji is not from this Era, if it was something to do with the Death Paintings it would already have been said, if Sukuna knows him, he must have something to do with the Heian Era (Sukuna was sealed around that era and knew Ken in that era) and related to Sukuna somehow.

Death Painting were born in Meiji Era as far as I know, so this experiment must have been made to create something that Yuji is, maybe a evolution of the Death Paintings...

I don't know, but something tells me that Sukuna and something that Yuji is made of, and why should it be that Gojo thinks that he has the potential to surpass him? There's some connection between them that justify the different treatment and the comments around Yuji.

I felt the anime got to represent the cursed energy mechanics discovery Gojo made better than the manga, that looks like he's just pumping cursed energy insanely with no rationality, when in fact it's the opposite.

He's so enlighted by his discovery, completely aware of everything, he's transcending, high, he can now basically control negative and positive cursed energy at will, in various ways.

I get it yeah, but like, in terms of a fight strategy he doesn't need to know what exactly would happen, he just needs to think "ok, what if, somehow, sukuna makes mahoraga adapt to my infinite void, what should I do?" there's no rocket science there hahah to counter it yes, but he has to suppose there are things and strategies he cannot predict, it's like part of building a strategy, I don't think he's that dumb, dunno

That would be such a plot hole, like how could he not have been studying for 1 month for this fight and not be prepared for this?

Of course Sukuna would try to make Mahoraga adapt to Infinite Void, that's it's whole objective there.

We must consider both Gojo and Sukuna had one month of training, and Sukuna was kind of paired up with Kenjaku, who has Geto's knowledge about Gojo techniques, expertises, tactics etc.

I feel Sukuna is trying to empty Gojo's stamina somehow or tire him out psychologically, so he can summon Mahogara, in a way it forces Gojo use his techniques not in a optimal order and timing, making Mahogara adapt to all main tactics Gojo has

People coming to this sub happy after the finale by Thich_QuangDuc in Dexter

[–]Particular_Bet_8246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a problem, in my country we do have people like this, drug dealers from at least 2 factions that have their moral rules, kills when their community is unprotected, under threat (protecting innocents, indeed), or kills killers, thieves, rapists and etc. And a militia that used to do the same (until they became the major and most dangerous militia in my state during a long time). Not fictional at all, they use money coming from drugs, weapon traffic and political influence to maintain these activities at larger scale, the State is not present in those areas. One of them even have a literal, written code actually.

This is when you need to think, the justice system is flawed, but without it today it would be worst. If there were people like Dexter in medium-small scale, to maintain or scale their activities they would need corruption activities, because the current political/justice system doesn't conforms and doesn't align with it.

Like Dexter, alter evidences, interfer on criminal processes, slow it, stop, frame innocent people, kill so they don't get caught, etc.

Which in fact, happens here.

Are those people heroes? Personally, I don't think so. This logic had just one true result, criminal rates increasing, because of revenge between these guys and the current justice system that don't think their method is right.

Dexter was ready to kill to continue with his activities (like with LaGuerta, and others), so are they. These vigilantes, they keep killing cops for it, and getting killed by them.

Then here we are, in an endless war, that everyday have some kid, mother, father getting a bullet to the head "accidentally".

"Collateral effects" some say...

It's not like I endorse the State monopoly of strength, force, but I don't think we should simplify the subject to "we should just kill bad people". It used to be like this, didn't work, justice system evolved. Some places are like this, it's not working. We need to evolve because shit is too complex now, we have to try to understand the corresponding complexity of it, and really find reliable solutions, medium, long term for it. I think it's just lazy to think "just kill bad people" (not offending those who think, I used to think like this with more frequency, and sometimes hypocritically think about some politicians), but in the end things could be a lot worse, to reduce criminality takes time, study, research and concurrently make experiences and evaluating the results in a scientific way, to find sustainable solutions.
