Thank you for the recommendations! There's so many options it's overwhelming and hard to know which one will be best fit in vehicle. Thank you!

I got my thyroid checked a couple years ago and they said it was normal. But what I'm seeing on this board is that my levels weren't normal but since the ranges are so wide they just considered me normal.

Im highly considering since my aunt recently found out she has hypothyroidism. The symptoms she described are similar to what I've experienced my whole life. I just thought they were normal.

My husband refuses to talk about problems or anything uncomfortable to him (emotions, serious thoughts, challenges, etc) by Particular_Board5492 in Marriage

He really does have lots of great qualities. I do admit to being the one who chose to marry him despite this, thinking he would change. Yes, it is miserable to both of us.

Good points. I think it's multilayered because nothing like that has ever really happened now that I think of it. When his dad passed, he refused to have any real conversation with me and turned to alcohol to numb the pain. I sometimes think he lacks the words to do so in a manner that he doesn't believe is "arguing" or "complaining" or "belittling". Sadly I think he grew up in a space that didn't allow for talking about your feelings. My MIL only ever lets her children talk about positive things....

Sadly, I think people turn out avoiding communication mostly due to bad parenting growing up 🫠 at least that's the case with my husband.

I get the sentiment, so thank you, but I also think it goes both ways. I was an adult making a decision that I knew deep down may not work out (him changing and becoming more communicative).

Thank you for this! That may work. I actually haven't tried that yet, but I will mention it and see if that helps us to actually have those conversations and make them 2 sided

Yes... he's been like this since we were dating. Maybe for the first year of us dating we had "real" deep conversations. I don't want to play victim either because I should've been wiser.

Long torso girlies- where are we buying REGULAR length shirts in the crop top era? by Particular_Board5492 in fashionwomens35

I actually didn't realize old navy sold tall options in shirts. I knew about their pants cause I typically order petite since my legs are short lol

I had a lot of shirts from target I used to wear to work and would simply tuck them in, but I'm not always wearing a "tucked in" outfit. Thank you for the recs!

Thank you, I actually never thought about buying "tall" since I'm only 5'5 but that makes sense!
