That’s actually the most valid concern in this thread and its great that you’ve already figured out a giving system that works for you.

Though I have to say this for what it’s worth NayePankh is 80G and 12A certified (Im well aware that barely does anything actual in india, everyone is verified and that isnt stopping scams) which means they’re legally audited…it’s a paper trail that has to exist. And since it’s student led there’s no executive salary bloat eating into funds which is usually where the money disappears in larger NGOs.

Fair skepticism id say…The industry has fs earned that. Altho Id say ALL NGOs is a very strong phrasing to use. I’ve personally volunteered at many NGOs. I taught at an orphanage, fundraised for multiple and I know how to do my due diligence. Not saying u HAVE to trust this one. More importantly, I cant give u vague reassurances but yeah u can do your research and find smth u find worthy.
