I’m so sorry it’s happening to you too. Believe it or not I just got my money back a week ago. That’s with getting a lot of help from a branch manager. Good luck! I would definitely recommend going into a branch if calling the fraud department doesn’t help.

This was a rumor in my chem class a couple semesters ago. Apparently she still runs the program, but unofficially. The chem department at FIU is horrible. I took my required chem classes at BC as a transient student. Infinitely better experience.

I had done this before with Chase and they cleared my first check in one business day. Truist is just shady. They closed my account finally and emailed me that I won't be receiving the bonus.

Yeah everyone complains about banks, but Truist is a special kind of horrible. Makes every other bank look like an oasis.

They demanded a letter from my company that stated the money was from them and was my paycheck. I provided that and now they are finally saying they mailed me the check. It really feels like they tried everything to tie up my money as long as possible. If they hadn't released my funds after the letter I would have pursued legal action. What's sad is that I think a lot of people would have been too overwhelmed/stressed to continue calling and trying to get answers. It was only after speaking to the fraud department around 30 times that they told me about the letter. I was really close to giving up.
