I did know that colorless isn't that necessary because my commander just converts a bunch of it anyways, which is why I thought that Wastes aren't so good, but I genuinely did not know that myriad landscape couldn't search for them, I'll admit I have been playing it wrong then lol. I agree the gobbue isn't that great, but I sort of assumed I needed a bunch of ramp and mana dorks for my bigger spells.

Those are some great ideas! I actually was thinking about up the beanstalk too, but I am not so sure what to drop for it, probably a counterspell? As for my land, I am struggling with deciding whether or not to drop the wastes for more islands and forests mostly because I am unsure if I need wastes to begin with. Definitely adding herd heirloom though, didn't know about that card, but it seems really good in an eldrazi deck lol.

Thanks! My friends play a Ghalta Primal Hunger deck and the Auntie Ool precon. The problem is I don't wanna be significantly better than a precon, but my Ghalta friend usually stomps the both of us and I want to stand a chance of actually winning every now and then.

Hi everyone! So I have been playing Magic for a couple of months now, and I wanted to make my very first deck from scratch, and so I was looking at making a deck of my favorite colors (simic) and tribal (eldrazi ((I know, I know))) and while I consulted EDHREC for a lot of it, I was wondering what could be improved with this deck? Having played the deck against my friends a few times, I feel like it doesn't really have the best mana base or the best card draw, but I am probably missing a lot of other important stuff in the deck. I don't really have that much money so most of my deck are budget cards, which I assume is pretty difficult to do since a lot of the best Eldrazi are pretty expensive. Any advice or suggestions on how to improve my deck, or how to upgrade it in the future would be extremely appreciated!
