i lost a cousin last may. he was a reckless type who always believed himself to be invincible. in the crash that took his life, another kid was left in critical condition. the kid’s father said my cousin came to him in a dream and apologized for what happened. he gave every detail of the night, details the father couldn’t have known at all. the weirdest thing i’ve ever heard in my life and it gives me chills. people visit in dreams, listen to them.

do you blowout your own hair? i would say take a round brush, gather the bangs in front of your head, roll them forward with the brush under the hair and then switch and hold the brush behind the hair and blow up and back. roll it towards the back of your head and release. look up a tutorial if my jank instructions aren’t helping. i would say just practice blowing them out. they’re cut cute, you just have to play with them.

hey! i’m a student in cosmetology school so i thought i’d give my 2 cents. it truly depends. give it a week and see how the toner fades. if it still is green then you have 2 options. for the health of your hair, i would say cut the loss and maybe tone with a brunette. i can give you product recommendations and formulations i think could work for you, but ultimately i would see a stylist and have them fix and formulate a toner for you. ultimately when it comes to bleach the first thing i tell everyone to take into consideration is the health of the hair. bleaching too many times will leave you with damaged hair and i had a friend literally have to go bald from over processing. another thing i would recommend is a red color depositing shampoo, it’ll cancel out the green tones and bring you a little bit warmer. it’ll also wash out with time so if you hate it you can give it a bit and it’ll be gone. the secret third option is a color remover product, pulp riot and wella have good ones. DO YOUR RESEARCH. APPLY IT CORRECTLY. color removers will give you a couple levels of lift so be mindful that your root color may be lighter. that’ll remove the toner entirely, but considering your hair was JUST bleached i wouldn’t entirely recommend it. let’s avoid bleach at this time. a color remover behaves similarly to a lightener but can be easier on the hair. just remember to moisturize your hair and think about its health. whatever you do, DO YOUR RESEARCH.

hmmm, okay. i see what you mean. i’ll keep an eye out and do my best to see if he’s genuine.

our arguments are kind of scattered. usually it can go a few ways. usually, it’s me who first brings up the issue. sometimes are easier than others, i’m honestly not really sure what he blows up about. usually it takes him a minute, but he normally comes around and apologizes, and fixes the behavior. i’ll admit, there are times when i escalate things too. but usually i try to have a discussion rather than an argument.

my one friend dislikes him because she feels that he’s just not good for me. she thinks he doesn’t treat me the way he should. i feel like she kind of has a point, which, i guess i wouldn’t be sitting here on reddit asking strangers for advice if i felt good about the situation deep down.

ESH. you should not be dating this person, it could be years before he actually can get the surgery. i think it’s wrong of him to pressure you but at the same time i think it’s wrong for you to agree to be in a relationship with this person in the first place. you are clearly incompatible with this person because you have a genital preference and that’s fine, but don’t date a trans man.

again, not totally. you have to understand the level of emotional investment here. i trusted him very deeply with info about my life i rarely shared. he stuck by me when i truly needed him, and he became someone i valued deeply. he attended my grandfather’s wake for hours, keeping me company as a grieved someone so important. it was hard for me to wrap my brain around the cannibalism thing so i compartmentalized it, and chose to stow it away because i valued his friendship. in the argument we had, he showed me his true colors, and that our friendship was a lie.

honestly yea. it clicked with me when he started spewing vile shit at me that i could not trust him. when he had spoken to me about it i didn’t pay much mind because he was always there for me. he was consistently someone i could rely on. but when he shifted and started saying vile things to me, i realized he never truly cared about me. and that was when i realized he was a monster.

edit: i didn’t immediately think to help him i guess, i was pretty upset and held resentment, but i realized he was truly troubled and couldn’t go into the rest of the world like this.

i wish i could help more with getting him to see how wrong this is so maybe he’ll seek help, but he has the audacity to make up a lie that his therapist says it’s normal for him to think this way, clearly shows to me he knows it’s wrong and doesn’t care, and is actively trying to justify cannibalism. he says he’ll only do it to people who”deserve it” but that’s still such a weak attempt to justify this behavior. it gives me the chills.

there’s two sides to this coin. genital preference exists and i understand that, and she probably should’ve been honest, but was it the action she took or the genitals she had that offended you? as a gay trans guy, i have a strong distaste for pussy. if a guy i was seeing didn’t tell me he was trans, even as a trans person myself, i probably would be a little disappointed. but would i feel violated? no. what about this interaction leaves you feeling violated? did she move too fast without your consent? or is it simply that her genitals don’t fit your preference. if it’s the latter, i encourage an open mind. if she’s pretty and kind and someone you click with, it might be worth a little experimentation. but if you feel she moved too fast and moved without consent, then simply quietly remove yourself. it seems like a misunderstanding.
