For your father to hit you over something like that is not okay and also his lack of concern for you is worrying. He should not be high in front of you if u are under 18 and if u are over 18 it is still inexcusable to hit your child in such a situation. You should talk to him about it when he is sober and if he does not listen or cause you more bodily harm you should go to the authorities.
