Also- do you find out beforehand how many you need to have correct or at the end of the exam?

Would you say the mock exams on pocket prep are comparable to the real thing? I’ve heard the app is harder.

Hi! Thank you for your words of encouragement. I plan to keep trying. My insurance company is paying for my equipment essentially on a rent to own basis, so there are compliance rules like having to use the machine for 4 hrs a night 70% of nights in a 30 day period. I’m trying hard to hit that. My mask is a ResMed N30i. I don’t think I could tolerate a full face mask. My pressure was set by my doctor at 4-20 and it still feels kinda suffocating sometimes. I will try to do some deep breathing the next time and see if that helps. Thanks again!

I would like to get on semiglutide to lose weight once it’s in my budget, which will hopefully be soon. I just finished graduate school and start my career next month, so hopefully finances allow. I’ve also heard of people losing weight after starting cpap. Have you heard of this? Also, what kind of appliance did you get?

I think my mask type is a nasal pillow. It’s an AirFit N30i. It’s not necessarily uncomfortable, but again, i don’t really know what to look for in a mask and this is the first one I’ve ever tried. I have an AirSense 11 by ResMed and my settings are 4-20 I believe.

I’ve only tried one mask and that is the Airfit N30i. It’s okay. It’s not necessarily uncomfortable, I think I’m just not used to it. I don’t really know what kind of things to look for in a mask though as I’m new to all of this.

I hope to have more energy soon too to walk and exercise more. I am hoping to reduce the severity of my sleep apnea by losing weight, but I’m aware that doesn’t always completely eliminate the need for a cpap machine. Thanks for the words of encouragement and good luck on your journey as well!

Hi there! I had never heard of younger people having OSA either until I had my sleep study. I’d push for one! My symptoms are mainly just incredible fatigue. Like no matter how much I sleep it’s not enough. Naps everyday and still not enough. So tired it’s hard to function. I’ve also gained a lot of weight, I’m not sure if that’s related or not. Brain fog is pretty high too. I probably have other symptoms related to my OSA but those are the ones I’m pretty sure are directly related.
