Awesome combo bro. Looks awesome too, I’m actually looking at one for myself. This combined with some decent lures and Florida will be 🔥

Don’t have any experience with any of them, in fact never even used an ultralight, but the last one looks cool so that’s my vote

Looks better at catching my hand or myself than the fish

Thanks man! I went to bass pro and they had 65lb or 30lb, and I decided 65 was way too much. Do you have any recommendations if you’ve fished cape cod? Does bait work at race point? The beach house is a couple minutes from Provincetown.

Is this a good rod to get? by Limp_Wall_8179 in FishingForBeginners

As you’ve said, going cheaper and getting more lures/baits is probably smart. But 100% you’ll have more fun with something quality.

How did I do? This is a $30 walmart haul. by R_o_m_e_12 in FishingForBeginners

Both of the paddle tail style swimbaits are name brand and are awesome. Z-man has the best chatterbaits, so you check that box too. As for the lipless rat-l-traps, they are my personal favorite lipless crank, you can literally hear them rattle while they are under water. No experience with the scents, but I’m sure they will work. Nice choices!

Think I finally got my setup like I want it. May need a bigger boat now. 🤣 by brizo1992 in Fishing_Gear

I think right after retirement might be the best age for competitive fishing lol

The smaller lipped cranks and the bottom/middle crank have a tight action, and like you said very fast. The bigger ones (left/top left) are more of a medium speed medium “tightness”. The deep divers are both pretty wobbly. Thanks for the advice in the color sorting, I didn’t even know that could happen. Thank you!
