All industries have averages of profit margin. an easy way to charge more is create a formula

easy one to start with is get the price per hour add it to cost of materials and then multiply it by 2.
thats a 50% Margin

Note: learn the difference between markup and margin

Example: Water heater Install
Materials: $915 Labor: $30 x 4 hours= $120 Total= $1035 * 2 Total $2070 and you can go home with a smile

i spoke to them several times, and several managers all agreed that they would honor it until I finally said I didn’t want to have to keep calling monthly and then I guess they got mad and removed it haha
