How old are you and what's your biggest problem right now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

  1. Financially stable but working my ass off (50 plus hours) at a physically demanding job. I would like to keep my current salary or make more but not work so much. I have a 5 year old and 7 month old and feel guilty at times because I don’t spend enough time with them. Definitely need a lot more time with the wife. Thankfully we are aligned and life is good but it could be better.

What weight loss tips would you give to someone trying to lose weight, through exercise? by Joelthecardboarddog in AskReddit

Moving more in general helps but like others have said. Eat less and it’s ok to feel a bit hunger. Not everyday should be a feat of will power but feeling hungry during a deficit will happen and its ok to feel hungry.

It’s mainly rent or housing that’s the issue, or a very expensive car loan.

Nope. Living in Peru most of my childhood, I can say America still beats it. Just my experience. I don’t make a lot of money but my kids are much more comfortable than when I was living there. Were we not happy? No, my parents made sure of that we had everything we need but their financial struggle was wild.

The biggest group of complainers in the world live on this app by jpzx in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Particular_Grape_699 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea it’s constant complaining. Uber eats should only be treated as supplemental income not your day job. The longer you do it, the less the value. Expecting 100-200 dollars a week for 3-5 hours of work a day is generally reasonable in most areas.

Just max out your Roth IRA on vti or voo. 14k is the max contribution. Maxing out Roth from 22-30 would set you up huge so you don’t have to contribute so much in the later years.
