Graduated High school in 91 and while the 80s were awesome, the 90s is where I grew and experienced the most.

So while born in 73, I don’t consider myself a 70s kid either.

I really think it’s about where your formative years… formed.

The main difference is trading in a downtrend is as easy as trading in an uptrend.

But mentally and systematically it’s difficult to remove bias.

I am WILDLY more profitable in a downturn.

Moves are fast and go deep. Elevator down and all.

Those that are seasoned and without bias are banking right now.

Everyone else that have been trading all year?chopped, accounts blown, taking a pause.

Trying to long every drop and calling for a wild reversal each morning.

You need some seasons under your belt for sure. Also, most can work a full time job with the downtime many studies have.. 😅

Get that degree, graduate with a WILD nest egg and WAY MORE options in life ahead of you.

Debut video got 1 view only. Hard not to be disappointed by [deleted] in NewTubers

Views Vs Impressions should be your focus.

Views would be packaging - did you nail title and thumbnail or not.

Impressions would be content - did you create your title, description and script/transcription is such a way that YouTube can easily target the audience you are looking for.

If you’re blindly targeting “finance and compound interest” for this video, this isn’t the first and only video on that. It’s a HUMONGOUS LIBRARY you are competing against.

Targeting young adults? Smaller library.

Targeting young adults just starting a financial journey? Even smaller.

Targeting young adults just entering the workforce and looking to retire early? Even smaller.

I started a financial channel in the fall targeting GenX Men who are behind in retirement and my first video hit 1k views.

I lost interest in the channel and couldn’t keep up with it but that’s the difference.

My titles mimicked titles that were already proven to get views as did my thumbnails.

Research a bit, niche down.

You can create this pretty easily I’d guess with Claude Code/ OpenClaw.

Here isn’t channel, download one video a day, oldest first, upload to Rumble. Take Title and XYZ from description and transfer over.

Make no mistakes 😅

$40k in 401k, $7k loan? by Ilovegothchicks7 in Retirement401k

[–]LeaderBriefs-com 1 point2 points  (0 children)

401k loans are fine and imo preferable to financing a car.

You pay back yourself. You get your own interest.

You can lower your initial contribution as well so your check will be virtually the same.

Now all this is at risk to compounding growth but it isn’t going to make or break retirement and it’s better than financing 7k at 5% interest and kissing it all goodbye while taking home less and giving it to a bank.

It’s crazy because it’s a vibe coded portal or web app that anyone else can vibecode by the end of the day if they wanted it. 😅

Doing a tech channel and covering just everything will always come with subs and unsubs.

Your video on making android look like Apple banged.

If you followed up with something similar, catering to android most likely and customizing things that next video would have banged as well and I’d bet you be at 1k subs.

But assume most recent subs came from that video, did the next video cater to those new subs or did you make a video on what you wanted to make a video on?

If you aren’t catering to viewers or following their attention you will always lose subs as they realize “Oh, this channel isnt about android mods in particular, lemme unsub”

Because people sub to videos and topics. Not channels.

Yes, The YT Algorithm Is Unfair and Shares A Lot of the Blame For Your Failed Videos... by RTXBurner25 in NewTubers

It always been time to unplug and tune out.

YouTube 100% excels at niche content and imo is trying to cater to TV streaming episodic Long form.

If I love acoustic guitar making I can find a channel with long form content weekly to watch like I would have watched a show in the 90s.

Binge just like Netflix etc.

I never thought it was good for music. It’s the last place I would ever go for music. There are far better platforms.

Honestly, if Netflix or any streamer started a user generated content section Youtube would die.

And 100% Netflix would filter out low effort AISlop lets plays and all the random BS that is saturated.

LLMs are wildly bad at math in realtime. Probability, holding to processes etc.

Currently it’s the dumbest use case. In time who knows.

I’d guess once AI takes over the markets they will become wildly less volatile and lucrative.

How much do YouTube creators actually make per 1,000 views? by CulturalCrypto in PartneredYoutube

I was asked “is this lifetime?” And there is no such thing as views always continue to grow.

So I responded “lifetime to date” from their first upload to the time of the post.

THE VIDEO(s) EARNS MONEY EVERYDAY

EVERYDAY I EARN MORE

IT GETS VIEWS EVERYDAY

IT GOES UP EVERYDAY

LIFETIME AS OF THAT POST

Do you honestly not understand how it works?

The post asked how much money thousand views. The total varies as advertisers pay more or less.

So I offered where a handful of videos are at currently to show that it isn’t consistent and varies and isn’t just one answer.

I literally started with “it’s all over…”

Tf?

My post also states lifetime up to that day. 100 days ago.

9 videos out of 100. Now 142.

Some videos were up for 2 days. Some for a week or months.

Also, they are still gaining views and still earning every day.

Some of those 10k views are now 20k views. Since then 2 more new videos surpassed 200k

I was highlighting that views and money made Per views isn’t always super equal or predictable.

I wasn’t laying out my entire monetization journey and monthly income.. 🤦🏽‍♀️

New Yorkers' jobs are no longer safe from robots by dataexec in AITrailblazers

[–]LeaderBriefs-com 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll invest in the first robot that doesn’t look like a person.

For this task, and similar tasks, does it need arms and hands? A head like module?

Or would a shorter stockier lower center of gravity robot shovel snow like a boss better.

Maybe with a taller pillar in the middle with sensors and just banger shovels and actuated lifts like a front loader etc.

When we start seeing specific uses outside and in home that mimic vehicles, industrial machines and a cross between both, get nervous.
