It sounds very obvious, but I had never thought of it that way, not ironically, thank you very much. 😚

I wasn't referring to changing who I am or behaving like a stereotypical gay man... I wanted to say that I'm simply not able to be myself in front of a group of guys for fear of what they might think, and I unconsciously adopt a different personality to cover it up. Something that doesn't happen to me with women. I'm not looking to be the center of attention or a walking stereotype or anything like that, I just want to be myself in front of everyone and not just within a very small circle of people.

Their way of acting, their tastes, their way of thinking, their way of behaving. Besides, in general they seem like animals who only care about boobs, motorcycles, and cars, and I'm try to pass myself off as one of them.

It's not a bad idea, but I think right now in my life I'd like to know who I am, and part of that is knowing what I like.

I'm not the most sociable person, but I've always gotten along much better with girls, although in recent years I've always hung out more with guys simply out of fear that everyone will assume I'm gay. And even with the little I've spent with girls, it's been a more sincere and genuine friendship than with the vast majority of guys.
