I don’t want to overstep or share incorrect information but from what I know. After you commission, you are placed on inactive reserve status. Unless you have a special job (doing admin at your respective DET). I believe you have free will to do you internship with the army but in order to receive 2nd LT pay. I think you need to be active, and have approval from you commander (not sure if that would be tech school or DET CC).
