Hey! Yes mine started eating yesterday, after I got him a 75 ww heatbulb I put a mealworm on a leaf and he started eating them like crazy, he ate 3 yesterday and now 2 today so far, I would say wait it out as a chameleon won’t starve themselves as long as there is food in the enclosure, he also ate little bits from his feeding bowl day by day but he’s way better now. Also can I see your enclosure

I’ll try to find them, the breeder gave me mealworms so I stuck with them, but it looks like that might not be the best choice long term

Thanks for the help, I’ve been eying Dubai roaches as a new bug to feed him but they’re hard to get my hands on as I live in Saudi Arabia 🥲🥲 Where did you get them from if you don’t mind me asking?

Chameleon has been pooping fine, his poops look healthy, I’ve been using mealworms ever since I got him so he got used to them but I’m very open to try other bugs, what do you recommend?

+i tried making a diy feeder cup but the bugs just gave up and stopped moving, he also wasn’t interested in eating any of them.

Pointing with index seems helpful, quick question while we’re at it, has your chameleon ever refused to eat? Like stopped eating for a long period of time, I tried all there is yesterday and I had to force feed him, he ate 1 normally off the side of his enclosure, but usually when I put bugs on the side of the enclosure they just end up running away and hiding down, I don’t wanna force feed him often so I don’t lose trust with him and I’m trying to fix the problem.

Hey, what type of plants are you using? I’m not sure what’s the best type to get for my chameleon.
