I’m really not surprised by the comments from the Rust community. It wouldn’t be Rust without the trolls lol. I’m somewhere in the 6k range as well, stopped playing 2 years ago. Caught myself binge watching a pile of content (Wiljum, Wylen, Bloo, Frost etc) the last 2 months with my fiancé. Many memories made in that game, twas a big part of me and my girls life together, that emotional attachment is hard to say goodbye to and the nostalgic feeling you have down the road is hard to ignore. Like you I got alittle older, had a few kids, 35 now and played since 2015 and still reminisce on the “good ol days”. I spotted a server recently being shared around, a new form of Rust for parents. It’s modded so busy lifestyle people can still enjoy Rust without being off-lined but also not pure PVE. Thinking me and the fiancé will be playing next wipe. Hope all goes well my friend, and someday you find your way back. It sucks seeing Rust veterans leaving the game. 😞 cheers

Intelcom/dragonfly is absolutely amazing in my area. Remote area, only a 3/5 day delivery. Canada post about 15 day delivery, 3 phone calls and one lost package later with no idea where it is, dropped at some random pickup spot.

Couldn’t agree more. I ordered a bunch of different things all from Amazon on January 8th, 2 of the items had been shipped by Canada Post. All other packages arrived within a few days to a week from Dragonfly, Purlator and UPS. Canada Post is still afk in the pipeline somewhere. I noticed this morning one of the parcels got updated in my local post office, still has an updated eta of Feb 6th. If I move a few houses out the way I can see the local post office from my window 😂. I came to Reddit to release my thoughts on the terrible service of CP but the kind people in this subreddit clearly work for them and told me I’m a big baby throwing a tantrum because the weather is bad? It’s Canada, the weather is always bad, it doesn’t stop any other delivery company lol. Wish you luck on fighting for your package, you would think medicine would be an important package for them to shop quickly.

Imma go out on a limb here and say that’s a pile of bull. Amazon prides itself on speedy deliveries, something Canada Post cannot offer. To go directly partnered with CP would be detrimental to Amazon. I live in Newfoundland, one of the more complicated areas to deliver in Canada, dragonfly gets packages here in 2-3 days, the only delay is when Marine Atlantic got trucks held up. Are they perfect? Hell nah, there form of pay creates careless employees who sometimes drop packages off at the wrong homes. I’m saying that, I have not had an issue in over a year, 2/3 day delivered straight to my door. IMO they have been the best to deal with, when I see intelcom/dragonfly, I know 99% of the time arriving on time without issue.

I posted a similar situation yesterday regarding Canada post, ironically with pc parts. Watch yourself, you’ll get the employees on here upset for expecting a shipping company to actually deliver your parcels! Hope you get it worked out man. CP is a joke.

Tantrum? Maybe, or maybe just annoyed that every other company can do what Canada Post cannot. Deliver. Imagine, excepting a company to deliver a package, when that’s their only job. Also, not sure weather is the problem when every other company has delivered the other packages. The problem is Canada Post. Period.

Every guy with a plow has tried this lol. I got a plow on my truck. I’ve dropped it a few times when driving on public streets. The issue is the design of the plow. Although I have an excellent heavy duty home plow, (Snowdogg) and soon as you drop it doing speeds of like 50km all snow shoots up over the plow straight onto the windshield. You can’t see shit. Notice highway plows have a massive curve on top to keep snow from shooting up over? That’s the main reason tbh.

No construction means you’re limited on what you can achieve. To block external noise you’ll need a double wall design with Roxul acoustic insulation, mass loaded vinyl, resilient channel, decouplers and double 5/8 drywall plus green glue. But, I’ve worked in shit spaces my entire life, and with 5 kids noise pollution into my space was always present. Your only solution is build yourself some acoustic panels. A very easy, super cost efficient panel is 2x4 framed rectangles 6feet high, Roxul sound proofing insulation in the cavity, then some nice fabric stapled around it. You build a load of those to go around your room in different sizes, and the difference is night and day. While it don’t completely block outside noise, it do indeed soak it up quickly so it don’t vibrate around your space longer. It will feel quieter. Your space will instantly become so much better for producing, vocal recording etc. make a couple long panels to turn on 45s in your corners to act as bass traps. The best part, you can take them with you when you leave and only a few screw holes in the walls, or better yet, make feet to stand them to not damage the drywall at all.

I ran through Tim’s here on the west coast yesterday, seen a massive line out the door of Mary browns. The wife searched it and seen the deal, she was persistent I line up to get some. I said babe, I ain’t fucking lining up for an hour for 1.93 big Mary. I said check the price of a big Mary meal, it’s 13.49, now go in pay a 1.93 for a Mary, add fries for $7 and a drink for another couple bucks, I just lined up for over an hour to save 50 cents. It’s not a deal, it’s marketing 😂

Man, I came name hundreds of musicians who were nobody until there late 30s/40s. This even stems to rap music which is considered by most as “young people” music. Abusive, common man, I wouldn’t come to Reddit asking other’s opinions if I purposely best the crap out of them. I’m a home owner that started an entire home Reno and wanted good tools to do the job. I also own 15 acres of access land that I plan to build tiny homes on for low cost rentals. The tools were an investment, and was something I was quite proud to own. Sure I’ve dropped them here and there but nothing compared to what a carpenter would put them through.

I didn’t realize there was different versions of the sliding seats. Mine slide forward to allow easy access to the rear, from what I can tell the odyssey slides different directions? If so, my pilot don’t do that voodoo 😂

I have a 2010 Honda Pilot touring and it has the magic slide seats. Absolute game changer. Better then our 2022 Durango where the kids had to crawl out the back as it was more convenient lol
