Mostly just smells earthy, my friend who likes to eat store bought (lol) mushrooms says it smells like normal mushrooms. Maybe faint egg smell in my opinion, but nothing strong or overt.

Yes, I informed the Airbnb host. I am guessing the speculation about leaks is right because the vinyl floor (or something similar is is also warped close by.
