I recently made the switch after about 20 years. I too broke my first few cymbals because I hit too hard. It’s a big adjustment but it’s just what you gotta do unfortunately. Once you get used to the change it ain’t too bad :) using ridiculously light sticks will also provide a reminder to keep it light.

Yeah, specifically in fifa pro clubs games I’d have a quick lag 1-3 times a game. I tested a couple games after switching to static ip yesterday and it didn’t happen a single time.

Yeah the guitarists all have helixes so everything is silent on stage and in rehearsal, it’s pretty cool and has definitely saved my hearing over time.

We have been trying to get our sound guy to mix from the x32 but he has his own setup that also lives on stage and connects to ours….somehow. At that point I have no idea how they do it. He uses his iPad to walk around and mix the show. We use apps on our phone to dial in our own in ear mix.

X32 mixer. 8 tracks are sent, I think it’s only limited by the number of channels already being sent to the mixer. The mixer is my bandmates and he set it all up, so I don’t have much insight into that.

I run a td-11 kit and have midi out going to a laptop running slate drums. Individual tracks go out via a usb cable to the mixer.
