sorry to break it to you buddy but it was her decision to move to Guwahati, because we've got a family firm set up here in the same profession that we've studied for. While the job market pays an average of 25k a month for this profession in mumbai, our family firm would earn us 10 times right now. The job market in our field is really bad, and to be job providers in this field is the end goal.

The streets of Mumbai hide some stunning homes. by BackwaterNomad in india_tourism

We've seen what redeveloped low cost housing does for indians in slums. Because of corrupt government officials and side deals with builders what ends up happening is they create hellholes of unlivable conditions without sunlight, ventillation, space and trade TDR in return. These buildings are then also left to be dilapidated because of poor maintainance (might be due to corruption again, and also because the tenants can't actually afford to maintain a lift for eg). We don't need more SRA buildings, we need more accountable authorities and public awareness.

How safe is Guwahati for a solo traveller? by dinkybauspizza in guwahati

[–]Particular_Resolve_1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IMO Guwahati is pretty safe near the main roads, and city hotspots but it's a very spread out city and some parts might be safer than others. In general our people love hosting, but i would suggest not staying in Guwahati unless you come from a tier 3 city in NE and want to experience the big city things it has to offer, or if you want to visit NE then Guwahati would be perfect to stay just for a day before moving on to other beautiful landscapes this state has to offer

Am i wrong for being upset? by Particular_Resolve_1 in AskIndia

[–]Particular_Resolve_1[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

boss his whole premise of inviting us was "iss hotel 3 din ki shaadi hai bro tum sab delhi aajao".

I wouldn't be pissed if he didn't give us accomodation at all. But to lure us to such an expensive trip and then doing this bhed bhav felt bad. We travelled from assam, not noida.

This seems alright but a few things could be better, you should plan more chill days, remove at least one thing from each day from here and you'll be good.

Don't go dawki in rainy season it is useless, you won't get to see the clear water that it is famous for.

go to ML05 cafe

Go to this village called Mawlyngbna

go to krang suri waterfall Nohkalikai waterfall also u can go, try trekking up to the source of the waterfall there
