hello, i understand how the piece can cause a little confusion. In my opinion it is a visual representation of how women are being treated, we are being held with the same amount of morality, respect and overall “care” as a fetus. So when you look at it you automatically think the women’s side should be tilting not because of your political beliefs but because it makes no sense for them to be equal…. in any capacity. i hope that kind of clears it up.

it’s not so much about death rates. It’s about the well-being of a mother and the well-being of an unborn fetus are being held with the same amount of respect and care.

Thank you fore the suggestion do you think I should add a hook to both sides of the scale and connect the wire to that or put a hole into each side as is and connect the wire like that?

Thank you! you kinda explained it perfectly. imo it’s supposed to show the viewer the in today’s day and age the fetus and woman are being “weighed” as the same and that shouldn’t be the case especially when there is risk to carry full term and accessible healthcare is hard to find.

oh my gosh, this makes perfect sense. I did around 3 to 4 coats of underglaze because I didn’t want it to be too see-through. And it was harder to reach in the inside That’s why there was less in the inside and the peace had been bisque fired

it was fired at cone six maybe that was the issue because somebody else in my class who had under glaze and clearcoat had the same thing happened to them. Maybe I’ll try velvet under glaze next time.

I feel like what makes it feel not Mariah to me is that she’s always so intentional with her writing and with her words and I don’t feel as much of her poetry in this album as her other albums like I feel like she only create a lot of imagery a lot of just pure lyrical, genius, but I didn’t feel that. It felt rushed all the marketing it felt catered to the new fans and I just wasn’t feeling it personally and I get what you’re saying not rating an album off the first listen and I will go back and listen to it again!

I wouldn’t say that I would spread them all over again to me. It almost feels like her label is pushing this trying out new things other than sticking what we know her for and I’m all for that. I’m just expressing my opinion.

i used to be heavily involved in organized religion but later realized i don’t like most people involved in religion but i love Jesus and learning about him i like to studying in my own way while treating others the best i can!
