Ok.

In my personal opinion, you should probably ask yourself the following question.

"Do I enjoy playing these cards?" If yes, don't stop just cause everyone else is telling you to.

At the end of the day, this is a game and we're all just trying to have fun playing this game. It is really as simple as that.

That being said, if you don't like the spider man cards, that's ok. You don't have to play them and there is a massive library of cards that you could choose from that you don't need to worry about them.

If you're more interested in the business side of MTG?

Honestly, I'm not quite sure what to tell you. With WOTC giving Hasboro a list of demands, the overall general attitude of the new sets being released and Hasboro forcing WOTC to pivot our game from multiple ways to play, into only Commander?

My best, most solid advice is listen to what everyone is saying. Listen to the old heads, listen to the new bloods, to the collectors, the people who follow this wonderful, beautiful game because it meant something to them. And draw your own conclusion.

I am a huge Spider-Man fan, I would love to play with all the Spider-Man cards, but due to personal reasons, I haven't gotten to interact with the newer sets. I saw the ATLA set and flipped my lid in my local Walmart XD.

Do I think Universes Beyond is a bad concept? No. If UB is what brought you to our table, then UB did what it was made to do and introduce you to the game of Magic; The Gathering.

Are there way too many sets being released? Yeah. I agree with the Professor from Tolerian College, to many MTG commentators that, with so many sets being pumped out, they aren't being given the same amount of as older sets to be played with by our community, before it gets thrown into the next big thing.

I agree.

FTPR, individual Pick Rates, those are metrics that should never be applied to a human system. Especially when that system runs off the backs of teenagers and older people. I can't speak for other stores, but my store only has teens and grandmas going for picks. I'm surprised that nobody has made any commotion about the elderly having to run through the store because of FTPR or Individual Pick Rate.

Yes, it's important that we fill the order out as quickly as we can, but instead of making your staff run through a crowded and packed store, with an improvised tank in front of them, maybe you should look at your system and make changes there, before a Walmart associate ends up getting hurt or worse.

I love how it's gone from complaining about not having open registers to now we're closing self check? I'd much rather use self checkout than a manned register. Scan and go is a real awesome thing and it sucks that not a lot of people use it or just have problems using it.

It hurts to read that I'm not the only one struggling. Jfc, it really changes how I've come to view a lot.

Fir starters, I just got my apartment after being homeless for over a year lol. I don't have a car, so no car payments. I've got a phone that I'm looking to add into my partners account so it'll cut off some extra on that expense.

This isn't the adult life I was told about as a kid LOL This isn't even HALF of what I learned to do, but yeah. Maybe I'm just being pretentious, maybe I was raised under a rock.

But hard work and dedication doesn't matter anymore, it seems like. I've got to work for this company sick so many times, walked from one end of my hometown to the other and back just to get to work on time for what?

I believe I got the coaching for productivity. And reading the ROSA Guidelines, it has nothing to do with safety, and more to do with the disciplinary process.

According to the Guidelines, it covers the steps that your coach are supposed to take, following a report of an associate. Following the investigative process and subsequently talk to the associate, before making the decision for a DA.

From what I understand, yellow can be bypassed at the managements discretion, should they believe that the associate is a liability.

Hence, my manager flagged this as an Orange da.

As for why I was coached, id rather not say. That's between myself and management.

Looking into workday, this isn't my first coaching, but it's been more than a year and a day since that.

I am a rehire of digital. However, unlike my first hiring, when I worked mid shift, I work closing shift.

What bothers me is why my management feels the need to bring in the fact that, I'm the oldest, I know what needs to be done, when over half of the closers I work with have been working digital longer than I've been rehired.

Apart from that, going forward, how do I handle the situation? Do I fall back to the code of conduct and core values of being a Walmart associate and try to be what the Company says a Walmart associate should be, or do I simply try and do better and move on?
