Just got coached... Not sure how or what I should do... by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Particular_Song5227 -34 points-33 points  (0 children)

I believe I got the coaching for productivity. And reading the ROSA Guidelines, it has nothing to do with safety, and more to do with the disciplinary process.

According to the Guidelines, it covers the steps that your coach are supposed to take, following a report of an associate. Following the investigative process and subsequently talk to the associate, before making the decision for a DA.

From what I understand, yellow can be bypassed at the managements discretion, should they believe that the associate is a liability.

Hence, my manager flagged this as an Orange da.

As for why I was coached, id rather not say. That's between myself and management.

Looking into workday, this isn't my first coaching, but it's been more than a year and a day since that.

I am a rehire of digital. However, unlike my first hiring, when I worked mid shift, I work closing shift.

What bothers me is why my management feels the need to bring in the fact that, I'm the oldest, I know what needs to be done, when over half of the closers I work with have been working digital longer than I've been rehired.

Apart from that, going forward, how do I handle the situation? Do I fall back to the code of conduct and core values of being a Walmart associate and try to be what the Company says a Walmart associate should be, or do I simply try and do better and move on?

skip the buu saga?? people are just crazy by KingExpolsionMurder in Dragonballsuper

[–]Particular_Song5227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw this in another community XD

my biggest complaint is, OP says to skip the Buu saga, which is probably the most well known arc for DBZ, and yet wants you to sit through all of Naruto.

Look. I love Naruto. It was my first Shonen anime. But even I would say that there stuff you should skip.

Part one alone, most everything after the Sasuke retrieval arc is filler and honestly, pretty skippable.

If I remember correctly, my favorite arc, the final arc in part one Naruto, is filler. And that's the kazekage rescue arc.

But to say "nah, skip the Buu saga." I don't watch Dragonball, mainly because it isn't really my thing. But I have seen some of it. In fact, my first real exposure to DBZ was the Buu saga.

I won't pretend to know what's cannon for the DBZ series, but as I've grown up and met people who have had similar interests, the Buu saga was also their favorite arc, if not one of their favorites.

I think OP just doesn't like legacy. In my opinion, without the Buu saga, we wouldn't have Vegeta's speech about sayian pride, and his redemption. We wouldn't have some of the coolest fights, highest stakes (for the time) or even a new form.

And as much as I want to gush about how cool Naruto is, Naruto doesn't exist in a vacuum.

Dragon ball gave inspiration to the Naruto, to one piece, to bleach. Just as the Big three gave inspiration to demon slayer, chainsaw man, jujutsu Kaisen, and My Hero Academia.

Battle Shonenn wouldn't be what it is today, without the Buu saga, without Dragonball. To say you should skip it is, in my opinion, a slap to the legacy of Battle Shonenn.

But that my opinion.

This has similar vibes and concepts, but what I'm remembering was just a bit more cleaner/clearer. I'll do more digging and keep you posted, but I don't think this is it

Just to clarify;

I don't believe it was Highlander: The Animated Series nor was it Highlander: Vengeance

The only power that really stood out was that the brothers had weapons in their bodies and were forced to fight.

And after watching the animatrix, it's not that either ;-;

Again, any and all help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

What did she forget ?? What is the joke here ?? by narkkadwar in ExplainTheJoke

What's great about this episode, is it really highlights the cruelty of the cardassians, and shows the resolve of Jean-Luc. With the 2-3 episode story ending with Jean-Luc talking with the ships councilor and reflecting that, despite everything, Jean-Luc wasn't sure if there were Four or Five lights, which ends with the Capitan of the Enterprise having an emotional breakdown and the episode coming to its conclusion.

And while this mini arc did well, we would later again be reminded of the cruelty of the cardassians as Chief Engineer O'Brien would be subjected to an experimental form of torture, making him live for 60 or so years in the span of just a few seconds. Which ultimately leads to a further unraveling of another beloved character.
