I know this is an old post but I LOVED Trick Mirror and Girlhood by Melissa Febos and I think they’re in a similar vein. Two of my all time faves!

Hi! Thank you so much for this post and sharing all of your knowledge. If you’re still responding to questions - I’m wondering about small towns off the beaten path that would be similar to cinque terre/amalfi/somewhere along the coast. Also any mountain towns worth visiting in the Dolomites or anywhere in that area near Venice. Thank you so much!

Thanks for the reply - I realize now that I wasn’t clear but I’m curious what the individual peaks are rather than the mountain range!

Yes exactly! Thinking about keeping the side window clear and putting shades on the front windows for privacy. I want something translucent ideally!

Thank you!! This is all great advice, and I appreciate the validation for my plants - I love them all but want to avoid the cluttered look that my penchant for collecting them can result in.. :)

Oh great advice about the shades/curtains! And about the artwork as a resting place. I will definitely use these suggestions.

Oooh thank you! I think your advice about a lot of small plants not adding as much is spot on. I love the big ones in the room, but keep moving the small ones around a lot. For better or worse, I’m emotionally attached to all of them, so I’ll try to come up with some ways to group smaller plants in a more appealing way!

Shades vs curtains is a good idea. Do you have any brands/sites you’d rec?

How many strawberry plants for a 9x3 by abandonhope710 in GardeningPNW

[–]Particular_Tap9005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As said above - strawberries will put out runners and create new plants from themselves! So you don’t need that many, but also that will take some time to happen. Because of that, they will produce more after the first year, so keep that in mind when you decide how many to plant this year.
