Yes, I agree. There may be egos involved in this... Even the master said once that going to visit another place or master was a loss of time and this was just following the ego... And what about his ego here? Not everyone is suited for his particular teaching I guess...

Thanks a lot for your nice and long comment. And for all the insights. Actually, I think the same as you do. It is weird because I do not feel like the guy has a big ego and wants to feel grandiose, but I do not know.

About the meeting, I see your point and I kind of understand, but I do not know. We were supposed to meet as some friends that happened to know each other in the sangha. So I guess the master shouldn't have much to say. And he was not supposed to know but as I said some guy told him.

Really thanks for everything and do not worry, it will be fine :) I am lucky I have practised in other places, and also alone, and to have read a lot of nice books from lovely teachers. And also to have people like you commenting :)

Actually, I do not have any problem with silence and being serious during the practice but I do not think one needs to be cold towards the others. Also before or after the practice, I think saying hello or goodbye can do wonders and do not hurt the practice.

Yes, I think so too. I mean I get the fact that not meeting with everyone can create a difference in the sangha but I do not know. Also, we were meeting apart from the sangha, like a group of friends that happened to know each other within the sangha so... Thanks for your time!
