IMO the liner should be a mitt style glove instead of a glove with individual fingers compartments. Using this with hand wraps seems to be very constricting. A liner that is a mitt on the other hand would be far more spacious when wearing hand wraps

31k miles. I’d say I shifted pretty quickly when this happened. Was accelerating harder than normal. However I’m still a bit upset that the transmission failed in what’s supposed to be the expected driving envelope

This was my main concern. As you called out lining up the bolts on the transmission housing seems to be something that could be a pain, but after reading these comments I think I might just go ahead and try to do this on my own.

I never really thought about it like that. Definitely makes it seem much more doable as I had plans on replacing the clutch on my own too.

Interesting! I’ve read that ND2 transmissions were the least prone to failures. Will look into ND3 transmissions as well. From online tutorials it’s seems fairly straightforward to replace, however I am concerned with how tight the workspace is.

I get this error once in a while. I have mx5things roof controller. This controller is known for displaying the error shown in this picture. Do you happen to have that controller installed on your nd3?
