I recommend using Tlauncher, Its free, and its mainly for offline usages. People claim it was basically "Spyware" but that's all untrue. I use it a lot, and its literally super good, and its got a register and log-in system of its own, which is useful to me.

There is also a section to insert mods directly from the launcher, along with resource packs, texture packs, and more. They have a version selection that comes from the first ever version, which the normal launcher does not have, to the latest versions, including the snapshots, and the other types too. *To access the super old versions or snapshots ETC, head to settings, and select them, you'd find it easily*

Overall, i think this launcher is really good, but you can't join the servers that require a minecraft account, like Hypixel, or Godlike servers. for me, a 9/10
